Jean Ross
Interesting and evocative Invergordon photos along with ones which may relate to my Ross ancestors in the Invergordon - Kilmuir Easter area. My Great Great Grandfather Alexander Ross, his wife Jane MacCulloch and his family farmed at Balavack, Delny, Invergordon. One of his sons, Charles (wife Elizabeth) lived for a while at Balintraid cottages and then in Saltburn. Some of the 4 children in Charles' family continued on in Saltburn at Lindean, "the Shieling" and Fairview Bungalow (since torn down). Another descendant was Barbaraville resident: Tommy "Balavack" Ross son of William Ross and grandson to Alexander.
