High Street, Looking East, Invergordon

A lovely postcard view of the cross-roads looking east. The picture has the quality of a drawing and has superb detail. It dates from around 1910 at a guess, but what is puzzling is the top of the building which can be seen above the roof of the car on the right. Any thoughts?

Was it the Central or the Commercial bar? think maybe the latter, memory fades me...

Don't know, but these roof features are not shown in picture #147 which seems to be an even earlier one. But it might be a hotel as it is in the area of where the Central Bar is or was....

I thought it might have been on the site now occupied by Albyn Housing, which was built as Wm Munro, Royal Garage??
