Janet Maccomie Rose

This is a photograph of William Macrae’s mother, Janet Maccomie Rose, born 1841 in Invergordon. (William Macrae is shown on picture #1848.)
I am always amazed at the quality of these old pictures. This is a scan of the original and it still is sharp and clear.
I know there was a Rose family on Clyde Street and believe they were coal merchants, not sure if this applies. Her father’s name was Donald Rose.
The date of the picture is unknown.
