Hi Heather, I remember this man when he worked at the Ironmongers on the High Street, along with Frank Etal. He stood out even then. Greetings to you, I still hear from Alistair now and then.

Hi Harry - lovely to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words re Angus. Angus was my stepfather for almost 40 years. He was the nicest & kindest of men. I loved him very much and miss him still. Yes - he worked in Gilbert Ross, ironmongers, although he was originally a grocer to trade. I too remember Frank. When we first arrived in Invergordon in 1960, we stayed in the Salson Hotel, High Street, until our house in the Dockyard was ready. Frank lived permanently in the Salson. A true gentleman also. I keep in touch with Alastair also. Kind regards Harry - Heather
