Alice Wilson was a popular teacher in Invergordon Academy. Mrs George was married to W.H.George, who was a senior member of the council and ran George the Barber's on High Street with his daughter Elma.

Alice Wilson the former Miss Macleod, was indeed a fine teacher, did not require corporal punishment, all the children respected her

Ena Gordon was my Guide Captain in 1959. Alice Wilson was my teacher. Both very dedicated in these roles, and much respected.
