Park School History Publications
During the 1990s, various P7 classes from Park School produced a series of local history books, under the guidance of Mrs Catherine Mackay, Mrs Fiona Oag and Mrs Anne McCulloch. The project had its roots in a series of public displays mounted by the Invergordon Community Council.
It was made possible thanks to help from many local people and businesses. Four of the five books were later combined into 3 volumes and professionally printed as a Millennium Project in association with Invergordon Community Association, and with monetary assistance from the Common Good Fund and Ross & Cromarty Enterprise.
The titles are: Victorian & Edwardian Invergordon; Invergordon in the Great War; Invergordon - a Town at War. More detailed descriptions for the pictures are to be found in the relevant publications.
