I think the girl behind Mary Macleod is Catherine MacKintosh (has a sister Sheena). She came with us on Girls Club trips.

I remember the trip to Burns cottage so well. We all stayed for the week at Hillhead High School in Glasgow under the supervision of Alice Wilson. The trip was actually in 1953 and not 1950. We all slept in a dormitory and on the last evening we had a midnight feast.
