Harry, I’m surprised you say Bill didn’t like the sight of blood as he worked in the slaughterhouse alongside my grandad after the army. Though I can understand it, he was a Bren Gunner on Anti Bandit patrols in Malaya and was mentioned in dispatches for distinguished services. He never spoke about his experiences. He passed away in 2011.

Hi Liz. Your granny Cath was 1st cousin to my grandad Ack. Their fathers were brothers..Norman and James respectively. Thus making our fathers 2nd cousins and you and me 3rd Cousin.
