Engineers Wives

These are some of the wives of engineers working on the Smelter. I recognize the lady on the far right as Grace White, wife of Jim White an electrical engineer. I believe this was around 1969.

This is Alness High St, not Invergordon.

I spent many years working after school and Saturdays in Hugh Munroe's … great memories of Mrs Munro / David & Charlie M.... Hamish put in an appearance now and again too!!
The wooden door at the side between the buildings is where Davie Oag's Tatties used to come in and were stored ….. no processed rubbish in those days !!
Great place to learn a work ethic …… David Munro... Legend !
