Benny Bissett (who lived in Bissets Hotel?) was a clever boy, who won every prize in sight at school.

I seem to remember the fountain was always being whacked. It certainly never worked during my time.
It was moved to a site at the West end of the High Street in the late 1950s?

The fountain fell for the last time when my grandad knocked it over. It was moved to its present location then.
