Bottoms UpDate would be a guess, at 1962, but it seems a nice way to pass an afternoon.

Every-one of them right-handed. Gordy can you name them please? Think I recognize two of them - Charlie Collins and Shorty?

Hi Gordie, in the middle at back is Wattie MacLean, and I think next to Shorty might be Ronnie Ross (Podge).

No John, this is the only one of the group that I don’t know.
Left - Right: Charlie Collins, Willie Blake, Hamish Allan, Wattie Maclean, Unknown, Donald Macleod.
I can’t recognise the window, as it does not look like any of the Invergordon watering holes.

Hamish Allan was in my class at school so he would be about 20 in this shot. I think the date is accurate. Hamish lived on one of the farms at the back of town. He was a particulary nice, gentle bloke, very unassuming and quiet. Sadly I believe he died very young about 20 years ago.

Hamish Allan worked in forestry, then studied for some time before going into social work. There is a help centre for the homeless named after him in Glasgow. Google 'Hamish Allan Centre Glasgow' for information.
