Old Wartime Gun Emplacements at Nigg

One of three photos of the gun emplacements situated just above the tunnel (see picture #985) which were destroyed to prevent them being used as squats during the Nigg Yard construction phase. I recall a man called McCabe who lived in one of these building along with his dog! These ruins are very close to the site where Dunskaith Castle (a wooden fort) is supposed to have been.
