Captain Frederic BoothTaken at Invergordon 1960.
Left - Right: Mr Garson(?), my mother Fay, friend Jean Clark, my father Captain Frederic Booth, and me - Heather Booth.

Gentleman on left is not my father. My father (D S Garson) retired March 1960 from the Admiralty and this could be his successor whose name I don't know.

Thanks Ronald for the correction. Hopefully someone will know who this gentleman is? I did know many years ago, but unfortunately I have forgotten. Was your father once Harbour Master at Invergordon then? If so, it would have been my own father, Captain Booth who was his successor?

Looking at picture #397 this gentleman on the left here could be Ian Askew? Am I correct?

Heather, I am not sure if the person in the picture #397 is Jim Askew. I don't know if any of the Askews were pilots. Perhaps Graeme Askew will see this and will set us straight...so don't be discouraged, I know that I am enjoying your input.....

Harry - thanks for the words of encouragement. I still have many pictures applicable to Invergordon to put on. Going by a couple of feedbacks, such as yours, they seem to be bringing the pleasure to folks just as I had hoped they would do!

Mystery man solved! Going through, once again, Mum's collection of photographs, I have come across a copy of the above picture. Mum has written on the back (quote) "1962 Cromarty - Taken aboard Water Boat 'SPA' during Fleet's visit. Jimmy Fairgrieve - Skipper'(unquote)
