Comments:
Jim this must be a class after the qualifying class, maybe 2a or 3a, as most in the picture were in the same class as me up to Gogglies qualifying class. Also, would that be Sandra Grant in front row? rather than Sally....

Yes Harry, your memory is better than mine, it is Sandra Grant and this would have been Class 2a.

Joan's name is spelt wrong, it should be MacLellan. I'm her cousin so I should know.

Thank you Mary I never knew that.

This brings back lots of memories
I also have the original and often have a look at the old school photos

I’m still in touch with Marie Macdonald, Jene Lowe (and Jill Baikie who wasn’t in that class). Catherine Ross was my bridesmaid but is in Australia now I believe.

Yes Mary you are correct. We came to Australia in 1964. It was arranged by Nellie Chisholm that I would ring a hotel in Forres on your wedding anniversary but I was waiting with the number and a call came in to say my mother, in Tain, had passed away.

Don’t we all look so young and innocent. Who says the camera can’t lie?

Hi. Catherine I did get a message from you thanks. Have you ever made it home since 1964?
Added by Mary Dufficy (Taylor) on 07 August 2020
We have been home about 6 times. the last time was in 2008 for Mums 90th Birthday. Too old for travelling that far now. Its just memories in the archives

I do not think it is Zilla Mackenzie in this photo, she left for Inverness before this
Added by Harry O'Neill on 16 January 2022
Harry that’s definitely Zillah beside Munro Hill. She was my older brother’s girlfriend about that time.
Added by Jim Logan on 16 January 2022
Hi Jim, I thought she left for Inverness when her father got transferred, maybe she came back but I dont recall that.
All the best to you in 2022.

We stayed in Nambour a few times when on holiday in Queensland with the caravan. We live between Melbourne and Ballarat.
Ken remembers the Wills family well.
