My uncle, Richard Borthwick lived in Invergordon from about 1946-1951. This is one of several photos of him and his Invergordon pals during this time - the Invergordon location should be obvious.

The Daily Mirror of May 23rd 2016 carried a story about Richard still playing competitive football in Weymouth where he now lives. 80 years old!!!

And it was his early football in Invergordon that played such a big part in his love of the game and has kept him so young at heart!
