Tickled pink looking at this picture. My auntie Rose is sitting front right and is now a PE teacher so she must have done something right. Note she's the only one with her button done up. Great to be able to see photos like this.

Certainly not 1960, as that would have made me 10!!

I remember all of those girls well. How the years have flown - this photo must be about 51/52 years old. I wonder where they all are now?

Hello John, update as best as I can ...
Jay Anderson has been living for many years in Yarm on Teeside. Fiona Ferguson (married to George Porter) is now back living in the Invergordon area. Christine MacKinnon has been back in Invergordon for many years now.
Catrione MacKay is still living in the area at Tarbat. You will probably know but her sister Monica (our age) sadly passed away just over a year ago). Rosie Fraser (my cousin) is in Edinburgh and has been since she left to go to College there in 1968).
Pamela, Linda and Gillian I don't know about. As you say the years have just flown ... school kids to pensioners in the blink of an eye.
Won't mention the footabll ... oops too late !!!!
All the best.

Sorry to hear about Monica, I remember her from school. I know that Gillian Bartlett is married and living in Australia, I think she was a PE teacher too same as Rosie...

Thanks Graham. I am planning spending some time up there after I retire although I am not quite sure yet when that will be. I would love to catch-up with you and others. I was actually up in Nigh two weeks age for a meeting with Roy. It was good to see him. I also met Willie Campbell and he sent me a photo of my late brother Brian, which I had never seen. On the football front I am still as keen as ever, although my loyalty has been tested many times. I have been sitting in the same seat at Ibrox for 37 years. I suppose I have to say that Rangers have featured in the forefront of my life - sad isn't? Of course they are not the only thing in my life although my wife thinks that she comes a poor third between Rangers and work. I suppose I have my priorities around the wrong way.

Hi John Frazer time you were retiring! Last time I saw you was in MK Shands ,saltburn ,you were operating a Lorraine strut crane on pipe intake and I was nightshift carting in pipe coating material with my own lorry? I understand youv'e had a career with Sparrows since then ,looking back at these photos reminds me of happier time ,all the best ,Kenny Forrest

Further update.
Pamela is married and living Switzerland. Linda (me) is living in Glenrothes. I was married to Rorie Urquhart, who sadly died nine years ago. I still have many trips up to Invergordon to visit Christine and my brother and family in Tain.

Still meet up regularly with Linda, Fiona and Pamela, when she is over from Switzerland. We enjoy looking back at the great times we had at Invergordon Academy.

Great to hear that you ladies keep in touch. I have been down in Ellon, Aberdeenshire for the 27 years. I retired three years ago after a long career in the oil industry. I am up in the area three or four times a year as my son lives in Dingwall. I recently sold my mothers in house in Kildary after it being in our family for 68 years. Have to say it was a bit emotional. I would love to meet for a cup of coffee if anyone was available. It would be great to catch-up. Best wishes to you all.
