Harry or Gavin - can either of you correct me here - Firstly I'm sorry to hear Maud passed away. I'm sure she was also connected somehow to my Nana Nancy Lamb (nee Black)? I would love to know the connection, and also to yourself Harry

Sorry Jillian, I can only tell you that Maud was related to my family through her first marriage to Robert Dunn, son of Hugh Dunn the plumber. Robert was my second cousin..I do not recall a Nancy Black.

I think you might be getting mixed up jillian my mother was Nancy's 1st cousin.

Duncan Maclean passed away 1st February 2022.
A great shock to us

Sorry to hear that Cath, I remember him and his family well. Duncan looked like his father. I can still hear his father's footsteps as he walked (paced) back and forth on the deck of the RAF pier..
He was the doorman of the Playhouse for a short time..
