The man second from the right looks like John Reid who had a decorating business on the High Street.

This photo appears to have been taken within the grounds of the Scout hut which was located between the Church and the Tank farm. The brick building at the back was part of the pump complex which operated the movement of oil. My guess is that the photo predates 1960.

This looks the same time as picture #1371 (1936) which is about right for the age of John Reid, my father's cousin. The man beside him on the right is I think Hugh Ross Lochslin.

Back row, fourth from the left looks like Jock Mitchell. Second back row, fourth from left is Donald Shaw.

I think Jack Fraser (Cougar) is in the middle of the back row. If so, this photo will be from the mid to late 1930s.

I agree with date 1930s. Might be Ben Dalgarno Jr. third row 2nd from right. Billy is correct re location.
