Early Fifties Scout CampFrom the left......... Ian Askew, Billy Mackay (kneeling), Sandy Mackay and George? or Ross? Macleod. I think this photograph was taken at a Scout Camp, it could be the same time as picture #872 and that was in 1953 at Grantown-on-Spey.
Sandy and Billy Mackay are my uncles and at the time this photograph was taken they lived in Clyde Street and Ian Askew lived a few doors away. I am not sure whether it is George or Ross Macleod on the photograph - his family lived next door to the Royal Hotel in the High Street.

Delighted to see a photo of my uncle, Iain Askew, on the site. He still has the same head of hair!

Did Sandy MacKay work in Invergordon Distillery in the mid '70s?
