John MacMillan.....he was my maths teacher back in the day.One of his Monday morning tricks was to line up short stubs of chalk on his desk , then produce ' The Belt' from inside shoulder of his sports jacket , lash it down on the desk powdering the chalk into dust.... Full attention was immediately gained...... from the lads at least !!

Ewan Stewart was the music teacher at the secondary school Invergordon when I attended until 1972 when I left to come to Edinburgh. I owe my love and appreciation of classical music to him.
