This is a view taken from the back of the houses in Gordon Terrace before any development was carried out. Judging by the pipes seen in the picture, work was in progress to lay drains for the housing which is now there.

Today this view would show residential houses from the new development on the 3/4th holes of the old golf course on the left of the photo, through to South Lodge housing (Ness Gardens) on the right.
