The Queen in Invergordon
The Queen meeting local dignitaries in Invergordon. Can anyone provide the names of the people and identify the occasion? The date is a guess.

I believe the title would have been Provost rather than Mayor. This picture seems to show Dr. Fraser wearing the robes of the Moderator of the Church of Scotland. I remember being awestruck when he came to Sunday school and showed us the Moderator's ring.

Yes Margaret you are right, it is Provost not Mayor, lived too long in England, time I was coming home!!

Pretty sure this is 1964.

The Very Reverend Dr Duncan Fraser was Moderator of the Church of Scotland in 1964.
