It seems the bonemill building was quite prone to fire over the years... how weird is that????

The bone mill always puzzled me as a child but I guess it must have been the place where animal caracasas were ground down to make fertiliser? It was an important establishment in Inverg when I was a boy but I did not know much about it. It employed quite a few people. Can anyone fill in its history and purpose? The buildings were quite old so I guess its history goes back into the early days of the town?
