Balintraid Farm

This photo was given to me by the late John Forsyth, the previous farmer there. No date but before the days of the combine harvester judging by the stacks in the stackyard. The drive to the front door is designed for the days of horse drawn carriages to sweep in and out with no turning.

(The date is a guess - Site Admin.)

Comments:
My grandfather, Willie Munro, was the grieve there with Major Forsyth for many years during WW2. They lived in the first cottage as it was bigger.

Eldest of the “Munro Girls” turned 90 last week. She would love to see more photos of the farm.
