The FountainThe Fountain which was situated at the crossroads of the High Street, Castle Road and King Street. It commemorates the Royal visit of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902. It was unveiled on 24th May 1904.

I have always wondered what King Street was named prior to Edward V11's visit. Also was it cobbled for the King's visit, or before..there must be an old record somewhere or a street map ?
