The spot where the young people used to hang out (mostly to get out of the rain) and watch the buses come and go, usually on a Sunday...there was nothing else to do back then....other spots were the window-sills of Macgregor's shop and the Co-op across the street....These ladies are most likely looking for the bus---"here it comes"

Date 1950s.

The right hand window was where men's clothing was displayed. Many times I looked forlornly for anything remotely fashionable in the days of Teddy Boy wear.

Hope you are well Billy. Difficult to believe that you were ever a Teddy Boy, knowing the check jackets you used to wear at school.
