To the left of the ship's funnel you can see the slipway with the Invergordon-Balblair ferry at the end of the slipway. The Seabank tank farm is well developed but there is no evidence yet of the Cromlet tank farm.

The ship in the left foreground is HMS Mars, the third mast from the left being that of another ship. This picture should be viewed in conjunction with picture #369 when the purpose of the Mars can be appreciated.

What was in the Cromlet tank field before the tanks, was it just farm land?
