I used to fuel them later on in the '80s, there was the Seal, Seagull and the Hurricane, but remember the 1950s launches too as I lived behind RAF Alness.

This class of vessel were given the title of being HMAFVs (Her Majesty's Air Force Vessels) with their hull number then added to the HMAFV title.
This particular launch was a Mk1 RTTL, as the engine room has not yet had the raised front part, aft part, and sides added to allow more headroom for the Marine Fitters to work on the main and auxiliary engines and system in the engine-room.
