I reckon this photo was taken from around the side gate to the Church Hall. The rather scrawny oak tree to the right of the picture was cut down some years ago but the one on the left and another to the right outside the picture remain (probably to outlive us all).
The old yellow painted school building is across the park - in my early secondary schooling the first room on the right looking at the picture was Katie Carmichaels and the second was Mrs (Tich) MacFarlane's and the rest was woodwork I think.
