I worked as a message boy for Charlie Wilson 58/59 and he had customers as far afield the cottages. Climbing the Cottage Brae with a bike full of orders was a swine - mind you in those days I could get all the way up without getting off. Nowadays I would be pushed to get up there in a taxi!

What a lovely picture of Alice and Charlie Wilson. Alice was my father's cousin, and I have not seen this photo of her until now. I've been interested in the comments about her on this page. I was in regular touch with her until just before her death and miss our conversations very much.

I remember Charlie, he had a shop on the High Street across from the Police Station...and think it was the only shop down that end.
